"Looking for a roofer to repair dormers and leaks was daunting. After reaching out to a few companies on yelp, Angelo from Guardian Roofing was one of the few who called me back. I explained the issues with our dormers, and the leaks that were coming through due to old satellite dishes being removed and existing holes needing to be patched. From the very beginning, Angelo was very knowledgeable and forthcoming with the possibility of our issues possibly being a little worse. We scheduled a day for our free estimate and he came out on time with his father. They used a drone to examine the dormers and entire roof, and also noticed that Matthews Roofing, who very recently redid our chimney did not add external flashing around. It didn't look right with the house. Angelo reviewed the photos with us on the spot, answered all our questions, and was very professional. It was great to know that they are licensed, bonded and insured in IL, which I did verify on my own. The quote was received, and we were very happy with the estimate and the scope of work outlined. We were so satisfied, we cancelled our other estimate appointments. Angelo was able to come out a week later with his team and they set right to work. It took one day, and the results were amazing. The dormers look brand new, and we were happy to hear that our wood was not rotting, but just weather-worn. They wrapped the wood for additional protection, patched the roof where we were getting leaks through, and they added attractive external flashing to the chimney. Their work also comes with a 1 year warranty. My family and I are highly satisfied with Angelo and his team. He is extremely responsive and takes the initiative to reach out to you and keep you in the loop at all times. We would recommend them and will use them for our future roofing needs."
